Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the coffee lover. I can recommend these as I used the same one for 3 years ,twice daily until I upgraded not long ago.

    Reduced from 160 to 65

I think these were sent here by mistake as you cant buy the discs down here. I used ebay and amazon to order discs . Or when passing tesco in the north.

    Bargain.

Tesco have promoted these in their larger stores several times over the past 2 years- and had sampling Saturdays in Naas and Maynooth as recent as last March. You can buy the capsules in Tesco (they're out of stock a lot of the time) and Currys (who also sell the full Tassimo range of machines in their larger stores).

The Bosch machine was E99 at Christmas- not sure when it was 165. Its a good bargain- but if you're using the 165 price as a yardstick- don't.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,387 ✭✭✭brokenarms

Wow. I work there and did not know that. If you did see the disc's on sale I assure you it was a rarity. The Tassimo was not on sale last christmas for sure Tesco ROI don't stock the things and where pushing the Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee maker and coffee instead.
Maybe you are getting the two mixed up. The Tassimo is a better machine by miles. I had both.

Tesco Loves Baby Newborn Size 1 Nappies 50

€2.59 for 50 = 5 cent each The pack is £4.49 in the UK

Not going to be of interest to a lot of people but at quarter the price of Pampers, it might be worth a try

    58 euro for a 50 pack??
    is that a bargain?

Dunnes nappies are 6 euro for a 42 pack, about 14 cent each I believe
similar to the Lidl nappies which I found to be as good as the boots own brand but cheaper

tried huggies and these are as effective (all)
Went Huggies,Boots, Lidl, Dunnes, the nappy is only on for a few hours with the business being done anyway.
Ample soakage in the lesser non branded ones in my opinion.

Cree LED Black aluminium torch 2D €10

    same one as here

A pretty decent Cree LED torch 3Watt, if you are familiar with these, comparable with much pricier makes. Sturdy, 2 x D batteries, tight focused beam.

Previously 18 or 22 at different times or shops. I got one before on DtD.

In Tesco Carlow they have more of the Wenger luggage, though this time you have to spend €50 to buy it. I didn't see any prices on it apart from the cabin bag, which was €43, I think.

They had them just inside the door in tesco nutgrove in a display saying "back to school" noticed a sign saying Up to 70% off but didn't notice if there was a minimum spend, sorry.

Bags are very good quality, I have one of the small backpacks.

Must be doing a clear out from when they had these with the tokens that time.
