Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was wondering what the norm is for submitting a story that has already appeared online. For example, I would like to modify (very slightly) one of my entries I submitted to the Boards VOAT competition and submit it to another competition.

I'd imagine all competitions rules are different but, generally, does anyone know if this might be frowned upon?

I posted a story here a year or so ago, then ended up submitting it for publication. I asked for it to be removed from the forum and it was :)

If you make money off it, I'll sue you seeing as it first appeared in public posted by me.
    Just so's you know :pac:

Many publishers want their stories to be "original", even on-line publishers. You can edit the story, of course, but I don't know what amount of editing constitutes a "new" story. I have a similar issue with a short story I put on another site - I hope to submit it somewhere when I eventually finish draft one of my magnum opus, so I plan to change about 50% of it.
