I've seen this in a few places, but it wasn't all that cheap either. I'm pretty sure I've seen it in a couple of butcher's shops, you know they way they hava a shelf with fancy ingredients sometimes. Can't remember exactly where, though.

    Old thread, but same question.

I am looking for the Hela curry in Ireland. Eurospar is now Spar, do they still have it? My Spar doesnt and I am looking to get this curry. Been 7 years in Ireland and its the one thing I miss from all things possible. :)

    Thanks.

John Duggans Butchers in Tipperary Town (beside Dunnes Stores) had it last year. I don't know if they still do it.

this came up before, it was in the butchers I mention in ballybrack, 2.99 at the time, might have gone up as I was surprised at the high prices last time I went in.

I might have seen that in a butchers. A brand new butchers in ballybrack shopping centre called "cosgraves the butcher shop". Its a chain so there are other stores and they have a facebook page which has a phone number.

They had various sauces there, as do many butchers now, stuff not readily seen in supermarkets.

EDIT: also found this, they appear to be the Irish agent for hela in meath and are "friends" with many butchers

I got hela BBQ sauce before, very similar to the one you get in mcdonalds for nuggets.

Try some of the Polish shops. They like their curry/chili ketchups.

Is there any update on this? I haven't tried it but does it taste like the sweet curry sauce dip in McDonald's at all?

They sell Mild & Spicy Curry Ketchups in Bresnans Butchers, Douglas, Cork. They also do the Garlic Sauce which is heaven over chips & cheese on top .
