G'day,

If you fancy some online rugby management, against other human managers, Blackout Rugby is worth a look.

It's a game that you can just look at once a week, or you can spend hours everyday crafting elements.
At the most basic level you pick your team, set your stats and watch the action. Take it up a few notches and you can compete (and sell) players on a global transfer market, invest in coaches and training facilites, set individual training regimes for your players, scout your opponents, train up different defense and attack regimes, promote players from your youth academy, participate in a national cup etc.

Which has a Boards League (in it's 5th season and now with 4 divisions.)

Good and helpful crew over in the forum, with a diverse range of experience, so it's a good place to stop into for some tutorials and advice. Certain aspects like the ideal height of your front row etc. aren't listed in any official documentation, for example.

The game itself is at http://www.blackoutrugby.com and is free to play. Certainly appeal to those with a good tactical head and who need a break from button bashing.

There's also a national team setup and Ireland actually do much better in terms of U20s and NT then real life (though the All Blacks still seem to rule supreme.)
