Returning a product?

When returning a faulty product, do you require the original packaging. As when buying stuff, esp. shoes, I leave the box behind. Some places tell me I can't return without the box. If someone could help Thanks ki

If the product is faulty, then you do not need the original packaging to return.

If however, you are returning due to a change of mind, then the packaging would be desirable. The exact requirements are usually outlined in the T&Cs or Returns Policy.
