dye my hair??

Hey guys,
Just want your opinion, at the moment i have highlighted hair and its starting to grow out I know im not going to be able top afford to put highlights in for another while(expense reasons). My hair is naturally a mix of colours ranging from mid brown to strawberry blond/auburn and light brown quite hard to describe, so I was thinking of dying it myself, any ideas on what colour, make of dye etc. I should use?

Talula D ...you have described my own hair color to a tee!!!I'm also in the same predicament, have gone blonde from an original hair colour of bright auburn around my front hairline, to dark brownish red on the rest.My eyebrows are brown to top it all off.

I wanted to colour my hair myself to save on the price of hairdresser, and am leaning towards a lightish brown, my sister recommends I go a dark auburn ...so hard to decide...must do something soon as red roots in the front with blonde ends is starting to look tragic.


It depends on your colouring as well I suppose, I have quite high colouring on my face so don't want to go too dark either....
