Really? It is the last thing I want. I just want to use an online tool, get the cheapest quote and buy the insurance and get it over with. I don't want to chat with anyone.
While I'd be the same, to be fair that's because you, I (and probably most here) are IT literate and comfortable doing things like shopping online.
Now count how many people aren't - particularly the older generation
Plus how many times have you gotten a quote and managed to haggle it down - try THAT with an online form (can't see them adding a "haggle" button

Ah my dad is 60 and can do it. Age isn't an excuse, it is just hidden behind as one TBH.

Says a lot about the insurance industry that whole crooked system they got going there. No people involved in your insurance purchase so you pay more than the person who rang up...0 -

Well I definitely qualify as the older generation and I now do most of my booking hols etc on computer = I even manage to do it without help too !
There is really is lload of old cobblers told about what older people can and cannot do ! Who the hell do you think invesnted all the early stuff !!0 -
