Hi guys, new here so please be kind.
Hoping to set up stall at the above market, but have a few questions......

I have visited the market on a number off Sundays to check out foot flow, with it being good, I am a bit worried on spending power with customers, as their seems to bit of empty hands walking out.

Is it as good as people/ traders say???????

What is the cost of a pitch and can you set up anywhere on site ie first come/ first choice. (spoke to a few traders to day and they weren't saying to much)

I tried to speak to one of the organisers to day, but without any luck, will ring
him again, but I wanted to ask the wise people on this forum their taught s.

    Thank you in advance.

This is a bit of a late reply but better late than never.
I have been trading in Fairyhouse for the past few years and to do that you need to fill out an application form (you can get one from the organisers) and explain what you will sell.
You pay depending on how much space you use, I currently pay 50euero per week.
You will also need Public Liability insurance which you can get through IOMST (google it).

Fairyhouse is still one of the best markets around but it has also been hit badly by the recession.

good info thanks am thinking of selling some stock lots in clothes i have left over. i was thinking about going there car boot or in a stall didnt know about the public liability. must look into it. in your opinion do you think there is much of a market for genuine branded clothes in the market at cheap prices.

    thanks
