Walked past i peckish today, it is still open and serving, looks like it's either getting a rebranding or just a bit of redecoration.

    Good to hear.
Passed Peckish earlier and it looks like just a lick of paint. There were deal boards outside so looks like they're open.

It's a total refurb, they're planning on serving breakfasts and moving away from the fast food side of things. New chef on site and total makeover inside. Still open for business. Manager was telling me the other day. Very exciting plans :)

They look like they are upscaling. Fancier exterior and signage I reckon.

Heard from a taxi driver last weekend the Glasshouse was bowing out this weekend, anyone know of any truth in the rumour?

Passed Glasshouse tonight and it was all shut up. Gutted :( really liked that place

Peckish looks the same from the outside. Inside is totally new. Go in and look instead of looking at the board outside. Its like an american diner.

Is Claire's gone from the crescent? Just popped out to return something to Shaws and saw it all boarded up.

I think they're just doing a refurbishment - there were builders in there the last day I was there.

The former spar on henry street (as per above) has had a lick of paint. Anyone hear of a new tenant?

Guy who owns the building is selling antique furniture out of the place. The Spar staff have mostly gotten sorted out with new jobs (I was also amongst their number).

Are you sure? I thought that a few weeks ago too, but then I noticed they only open 12 to 7pm most days.
