Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, i wonder is it possible (using a free program preferably) to stream movies (eg. divx) to the ps3 from my laptop when both are connected to the same router?

There are loads, xbmc and ps3mediaserver spring to mind. Former is good for organising and playing the media library and the latter is good for transcoding different formats for playing on the ps3.
In theory, wmp is a upnp server from version 11 I think.

    +1 on ps3mediaserver
Very easy to setup and use on a laptop.

Just one thing - it will only work for NAT2 or NAT3 connections on the PS3. If you've switched to a NAT1 config for gaming, it will not work as it is routed away from your internal network.

Sounds good, but this article here keeps refering to transcoding "online", is an active internet connection required when playing files?
