Dublin Airport, Best Value after Security

    Hi All,

    I thought it would be a good idea to know the best value places to buy things in Dublin airport after security. This strikes me as a natural environment for retailers to overcharge as items like liquids & aerosols can be confiscated at security and people, having planes to catch, do not have sufficient time to shop around. However, there are a number of different retailers offering the same or similar goods & services and some level of competition may exist between them. If we all happened to know the best value places to buy things before walking into the airport, we could at least minimise the overcharging.

    If you happen to have bought something non transferable* through security in Dublin Airport recently and can remember the retailer and price, please feel free to share on this thread. (even if you haven’t checked that it’s the best value available).

    (* things like liquids, aerosols, hot food, internet services)

    I’ll start:

    A 50cl bottle of Evian Still Water is €1.00 at “The Loop” Off Licence in Terminal 1.
    (I think a 50cl bottle of Ballygowan Still Water was €2.00 at a nearby vending machine).

    Please note this thread is for Dublin Airport AFTER SECURITY only.
