    right so i went and ordered the steepletone one (3 speed, 33/45/78 rpm speed selector)..hadn't checked boards since for that extra advice..but anyway i got the steepletone today and its looked pretty small so i opened it (meant to be a gift for boyf) its got a tiny diameter! and the records my boyf already has are wider in diameter! will it play the larger records?! i'm confused!

    Yeah, it should be fine. My records are slightly larger than the turntable. Plays like a dream.
