I reckon we're getting enough tournaments popping up around the country to justify something like this. Each county/tournament/city/whatever sends 5 of their best for a 5v5 Super Street Fighter 4 tourney. We could either just nominate players from our areas to represent us or run a qualifying event to make our teams.…

Instead of all this "multiple teams for Leinster SF4" crap, hold a tournament for team captain & then let the captain choose.

@chunkis: I agree that SF4 AE ain't the best SF4 (or best SF) -- but it's the one we all play.

how are the captains decided on each team, would it strictly be based on seeded points from fighting events or would each qualifying player from the top 5 seeded have to fight for the position?

Is this for determining a 5 man team for international events?
Or just for crowning national champions once a year?

National champions I assume. Otherwise the 5th best player for a representative team could be replaced by a lesser 5th best of a region (or at least 5th best in the eyes of the selector)
