PGDE with Languages in UL as a Masters?

    Hi all

    I am really interested in doing the PGdip in Education with Languages in UL next year but would love to do a Masters in the whole area of teaching languages or applied linguistics aswell.

    With most taught Masters programmes I have looked at you can get a Postgraduate Diploma if you just complete the taught modules and do not do the thesis. Taking this into account, would it be possible to apply to do a thesis which could be added to the PGdip in Education and Languages to get an MA aswell as the PG diploma?

    Has anyone ever heard of anyone doing this? Maybe it would be possible in addition to some other taught modules aswell?

    Interested in this as well. I was about to apply for this course earlier this year but didn't , but am going to apply for next year......
