Hello, If you have a local authority house in Co. Kildare is it possible to get a house transfer to a different county? I do know there is a transfer list but I wasn't sure whether it was just for within your county or throughout all the counties. Though I will be ringing the County Council I just wanted to find out a few…

Hello,

I understand you can, but you need to find someone yourself that is willing to do that swap. I'm sure the councils may restrict some swaps, e.g. 1 person moving into a 3-bed by themselves.
