You have to watch one of them though or leave it on one of the channels.......you can't record two and watch a third if you get me.

Their's a Dual platter HDD in the newer boxes, that's how it works.

Ah I see, well the TV was off so the box just recorded the two simultaneously. When did the Dual Platter HDD come in? Handy stuff :)

Or record two while watching something you have already recorded

I was very confused after the last episode in which they were selling products to the over 50's. At the start of the episode Alan Sugar clearly said the winners would be the ones who sold the most units yet at the end of the show he gave it to the team with the most profit:confused:
Did anyone else notice that or did I miss something?

That was my understanding too - I thought both teams would have gone for the cheaper options so as to sell more units - however the number of units sold did not come into it at all - despite the instruction at the beginning of the show

That was my understanding as well....because I could not understand for the life of me why she insisted on buying one expensive thing

They should have fired Lord Sugar so :)
They must have told the 2 teams off air that it was the team with the biggest profit who wins as they both knew what they were doing. It's pretty poor editing from the beeb which is unusual from them.

Can't believe this has only got three pages of a thread on it. It's absolutely quality, the talent of some of the youngsters in it embarrasses the Irish adult version. By and large great entertainment too.

    Anyway its down to the last 6;

    Zara
    Haya
    Lizzie
    Harry M
    Harry H
    James

Really talented bunch of kids; having said that I think it's between Zara, James and Harry H for the £25k prize. The Norn Ireland chap has grown on me after an annoying start; he really does have his head screwed on for the most part. Think Zara will win it though; she's got the maturity of someone 10 years her senior.

It IS an excellent show - I didn't enjoy Monday's episode as much as previous ones, but it was still very watchable indeed.

Didn't like James at the beginning, but I hope he wins now. He's got the humour as well as everything else. Zara could be a 35-year-old, she's so confident, poised and articulate. And they're not a nasty bunch either - well, that Harry M can be a bit slithery, but he has his good-ish moments too.

i though Harry M would get fired, don't know how
he was not brough back in. james is doing quite well

I'd like to see Harry H win it. Great programme though, they are 100 times better than the adults in the Irish Apprentice and would wipe the floor with them.

+ with this completely! Would be happy to see any of the three win it. I would rather watch this, than the Irish Apprentice. It's a much smoother show, better editing and the content is so much better.

The kids really do put the adults to shame.

Ah **** it anyway! Wanted Harry H to win, they were unlucky.

Think its obviously going to be James and Zara in the final.

That's a digrace. La popcorn was absolutely woeful yet Morrison's likes them. I'm not buying it. Harry H was the best in the process by a country mile and he's knocked out.

Don't like any of these final three.

It was a much better concept that the generic one the Harry's came up with. If they'd managed to get the flavors more spot on [a lá Thai Sweet Chilli style from Walkers] and a better name it's a concept that would probably sell well in reality; there's **** all specialist popcorn out there. I can understand why Morrison's took to it.

Overall I think the two best Candidates are in the final but Zara will wipe the floor with James; she's got the head of a 25+yr old. James is just that little bit immature.

Harry M had ability but he's just too far up his own hole to actually realise that potential fully. Everyone of them in the final 6 bar maybe Haya are all fantastic candidates.

I was really sorry to see those three leave. Although, I guessed as much when the programme was edited to make it seem like Harry's team were doing much better - they do like to a shock boardroom. Very surprised that Morrison's went for La Popcorn in such quantities, though.

Shame to see Harry H leave, though, as I thought he was a potential winner.

Of the two left, I would prefer to see James win, as there is something a little off about Zara for me. I don't know is it a certain fakeness, or that thing she does where she passes other people's ideas off as her own, but I can't take to her at all.

Saying that, I think she's definitely Sir Alan's front runner at the moment.

Zara definitely seems very fake. She seems to think she's a 25 year old, but she's not and it comes across very badly. I think James will do way better than her in the final, he has improved massively in this process.

Harry H should have won this I'm bored

Nick seems really down on James and is really pushing for a Zara win.

For a start i couldn't see Sugar opting for an Irishman over an English girl unless he was way out in front.

I think he did himself damage when he said he would use the money to study. Alan sugar is a businessman who is proud of the fact he never went to college and started his business at 15.

Crazy Cabinet was the better game by a country mile, Zara did little of consequence throughout this whole thing. She's a very lucky winner.
