Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

'Irish Silicon Valley' at Old Waterford Crystal site

Did anyone read this article in the munster express, they were at best extremely vague on it but apparently some UK university was looking into the old waterford crystal site to see if it was viable for a large computer research centre. To be honest sounded like a load of dirt, even munster express said it at one stage but then went on to say that there definitely were talks being held about the site.
Does anyone know of any half concrete details about this?

They'd be better start in a field, imagine the clean up involved in getting that site ready for anything other than manufacturing of some sort

The munster express seems to do this a lot, just put some sort of half-a$$ story about potential jobs etc on the front of the paper and then people are all disappointed when they read the article has absolutely nothing concrete in it. They use lots of words like informed sources, speculation, potential etc etc which in general are based on nothing but selling papers

I have noticed this and to be honest I think its absolutely disgraceful, fairly offputting to say the least, thats why I came on here really just to see if anyone knew anything solid on it.
