3rd level essay writing

im a 1st year eycs student.........Ive got an essay due the in november for a psychology module....problem is ive never written a 3rd level essay before....ive no idea how to structure it where to start etc......if anyone could be of assistance as to showing me some sort of template/ guidelines id really appreciate it.....ive been out of college 2 full weeks due to a bad illness so ive probably missed a fair bit but i do need advice..thanks
