Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is a long shot but does anyone know of any non or low alcohol stouts that would look anything close to Guinness?

    It's for a film shoot.

    Guinness Mid Strength?

    2.8%

Looks exactly like Guinness and is low in alcohol.

    Malta Guinness?

The African food shops should have it, or another brand of malta.

I've never heard of that. Still might get to the actor after 10 hours of sitting drinking it - he has to play a booze hound!

Yep, I have seen this in an african shop on moore street in dublin.

What year is the film set in? I was watching Angelas Ashes and they had creamy nitrogen gas looking heads on the guinness/stout. But I don't think you would have got nitrogen heads on stout way back then.

The malta would look more like I would imagine pints back in the day.

Bear in mind that nitrogenation was designed to create the same consistency and look as cask dispense. It can be quite disturbing how much a sparklered pint of bitter resembles smooth in all things but taste.
