Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It depends on what you want to treat the animal for? Fluke? Worms?

    ya for fluke and worms

I think the Bimeda Dose (Endospec) is a decent dose. Cheap and as its an albendazole, it isnt as severe as the ivermectin wormers that can bring on pneumonia in younger cattle.

Any of the Albendazoles are good for Type II worms and adult fluke. Need to repeat then in 6 weeks if possible.

Curafluke 10% is a better dose as it covers more stages of fluke ( adult & Immature) and also gives a good kill on worms. Endospec or any albendazole dose is cheaper but only covers adult fluke and worms. http://www.agridirect.ie/index.php/curafluke-10.html .
Have you ever used the hook guns for dosing. Takes the pain out of oral dosing.

Good loser, Bob is right, trodax doesnt kill early immature fluke or rumen fluke. You need to have animals in at least 4 weeks if you want it to cover all fluke - cattle and sheep - and there is no injection that will cover rumen fluke, has to be an oral
