Are they making irish optional for the lc

no enda kenny only said it to increase awareness of irish and keep it strong because of maths getting extra points, people are now having irish as their past subject, so it was more to encourage people to keep at it.

I highly doubt it with the amount of protest there was against it. I'd prefer if it were to be optional but alas.
