Hi,new to all this cycling business even tho purchased bike a couple of years ago but only starting to do some decent spins the last couple of months. Could someone put me right on each level from entry level to pro level with regard to gears and brakes (ultregra, tiagra etc).

    Cheers.

Should give you all you need to know. Range for road bikes is 2300 (entry level) -> Dura-Ace (pro) and everything in between.

For me, Tiagra more than satisfies my needs - commuting and some leisurely spins at the weekend. Depends what you're into, some posters are racers and may have an insight into the higher spec ranges. And it depends how deep your pockets are!:pac:
