    Cork Kerry Weekend Ballyvourney 2011

    20th Anniversary on 11.11.2011!!!!!:



    Timmy “the brit” McCarthy will be holding his Cork Kerry weekend on 11 / 12 / 13 November 2011 at the Abbey Hotel and Mills Inn in Ballyvourney. Booking of accommodation in advance is strongly advisable as a large number of visitors attend each year.

    Rough Program:

    Friday evening: 21:30 Ceili

    Saturday morning: 10:30-13:00 14:30-17:30 Workshop

    Saturday evening: Meal 19:30 sharp Abbey Hotel

    Saturday evening: 21:30 Ceili

    Sunday morning: 11:00 - 13:00 Workshop

    Sunday Afternoon: 14:30 - 17:30 Ceili

    Sunday afternoon: 13:30 Historic walk from Abbey Hotel

    Sunday night: Free Concert in Mills Inn 21:00

    Sessions will of course happen sporadically at various venues in and around Ballyvourney over the weekend.

    Ceili bands are Donal Murphy and Sliabh Notes. Padraig O’Se and Steve Cooney / Gary O’Brien. Youenn Peron, Tony and Timmy McCarthy, David McMahon, Peter Corbett. Christian Maier, Matthias Meir and Siegi Mühlbauer.

    We’re also happy to announce that our Bavarian friends dahuawadameierundi are also taking part this year - so watch out Ballvourney - between Bavarian barmaids breasts, jodels, Lederhosen and wild mountain goat dances - ye won’t know what hit you

    Please don’t forget that beginners are as welcome as anybody else.
