Tarik Cohen is single handedly relegating me:(

Looks like I'll pip Wrath of Saquon to the top of Division 3, providing James Conner or Jordan Reed get 3 points between them!

...and you've got the bye with automatic promotion to Div 1! Nice one...

You did indeed pip me (70.86 points with none of my WRs showing up doesn't really have me feeling "pipped").

So I go from a third seed to the Consolation ladder and no match up this week!

    The joys of it.

Just snagged Jaylen Samuels off FA - to play or not to play - that is the question. The Houston Cattlemen front office have some thinking to do. Alternatives are Jordan Howard or Dion Lewis - who are both diving as starters - Samuels still represents a risk imo.

Good luck to our WC opponent Dunboyne Dragons and Super Troopers @ Mighty Pigs in the other game. This is the week to win. #RatherBeLuckyThanGood.

Went from a cracking 6-0 start to now be 7-6.
Not feeling optimistic. AJ Green done for the year. Melvin Gordon didn't practice again today. Isaiah Crowell was out yesterday, can't see anything about today yet.

And in a fitting finale to my sh1tshow of a season, I got knocked out of the consolation bracket by less than 3 points, because the Chicago D scored 20 against the Rams :rolleyes:

Good Luck to Infacteh Indians v Mighty Pigs in the Final.

I left my FA recruit Jaylen Samuels on the bench this week. A decision that has cost me a place in the final. Doesn't really matter I suppose but I'm still a bit gutted for some reason.

Cheers to the infacteh for organizing also.

Well congrats to Mighty Pigs, Boards Division 2 Champions 2018!

On a sidenote, I can't believe I lost to Nick Foles and CJ Anderson :eek::eek:

Some ballsy lineup decisions paid off handsomely!

They were desperation calls more than ballsy calls!

No hassle, only thought of it myself yesterday, but I had to go searching for the new sign up thread. Especially as I had some hassle last year chasing lads to sign up!

Ahoy folks. Just waiting on Raphael and Alfred Borden to join up and we're good to go and can start to pick a draft time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,113 ✭✭✭Guffy

    Who are we waiting on?

Can we get the poll up and running so we can sort a draft date?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,188 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

We're still waiting on Raphael. I'll put the poll up later today though.

    Hey folks,

Poll here. Be sure to put your team name beside your vote.

    We're still waiting on Raphael...

No sign of Raphael yet? I wonder should it be said to adrian in case everyone needs to be moved up 1 before drafts take place?

Sorry lads, went from being mad busy straight into being laid up sick most of last week. Have joined the league there, and will probably just end up autodrafting, so I've left the Doodle poll alone.

Edit: Also, for the sake of clarity, have renamed the franchise from Roebuck Racial Epithets to the Balbriggan Buccaneers

Thanks, when we will know thew draft order?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,188 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

Don't get draft order in advance. So I guess you'll know it when the draft room opens which is 30 mins before time I think?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭Tristram

I wont be online but Ive saved my draft list

Last year was one of the changes and, even in random, the order was known before draft.

    Can anyone confirm or not?

  • Registered Users Posts: 111 ✭✭aferru

    Attached screenshot of that thread.
Bear in mind if is too complex or we are not to bothered is fine too, after all we are just over 24h before draft.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,188 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

Ah ****, I didn't notice/realise this. I can throw it up later tonight so at least we have it for tomorrow.

Edit: Ok I have set the draft order by using the "randomize" setting on the website. I'm in slot 10 which is utterly ****e so I guarantee it was done legit!

    Pick 1 Balbriggan Buccaneers
    Pick 2 Aille Cows
    Pick 3 Dunboyne Dragons
    Pick 4 Wont Come Last
    Pick 5 Pillow Fighters
    Pick 6 Hello Simey
    Pick 7 CorkEagles
    Pick 8 Irish Colts
    Pick 9 Foxboro Legends
    Pick 10 Bortles Bus
    Pick 11 SuperTroopersFC
    Pick 12 The Islanders
    Pick 13 Kilkenny Patriots
    Pick 14 Walnut Wanderers
Pick 15 The Wrath of Saquon
    Pick 16 RomaSuck Raiders
