Well im fcuked and my season is fcuked.

Everything on NFL.com works in my office except the draft client. I tried to login a few minutes ago and i couldn't. Then I tried to fix my predraft rankings so auto-draft wouldn't fcuk up, i couldnt as we are in draft mode.

I have two players on the top of my predraft rankings who are only there as a reminder to pick them if they are available later in the draft.

So my picks in the first 2 rounds are going to be a joke.

That's horrible. Absolutely rotten luck. You should've seen the reaction to the Kenbrell Thompkins pick though, no one had seen this post.

Haha i can imagine, 2nd pick won't be as bad but still a massive reach

This website is pretty fun for rating your team post-draft:
    http://subscribers.footballguys.com/rate-my-team/team.php?team=2rA2msv4Bi63&rater=50

They seem to think my team is good. Draft could've gone worse certainly.

Pretty sure you don't have both Calvin Johnson and Richardson.

Picking 5th. Kinda made a mess of things.

    1. Doug Martin RB1
    2. Maurice Jones-Drew RB2
    3. Rob Gronkowski TE1
    4. Wes Welker WR1
    5. Russell Wilson QB1
    6. Chris Givens WR2
    7. Pierre Thomas RB3
    8. Owen Daniels TE2
    9. Brian Hartline WR3
    10. EJ Manuel QB2
    11. Daniel Thomas RB4
    12. Jeremy Kerley WR4
    13. Packers DEF
    14. Robbie Gould K

Fortunate enough to get Doug Martin 5th, had him ranked 2nd overall. Things started to go wrong at the second pick, choice between MJD and Jimmy Graham. Should've probably gone for Graham, think I panicked at not wanting to try and find a 2nd RB further down, and took MJD.

Had it in mind to go for Gronkowski at the bottom-3rd/top-4th, but guys I was targeting at the top of the third went off the board, so ended up taking Gronk at the top of the third.

Didn't get much better after that. Found WR a struggle, but probably because I waited til the 4th round to start picking them.

    Verdict:
I guess my season will go as Gronk's health goes. If he returns to full health, I could do ok. If he misses games, I'm in trouble. I had planned to take a bit of a risk with him, just not quite as high.

    Trade block...

I stupidly picked a backup QB with the same bye-week as my starting QB, so if anyone did the same, would be interested in a swap of backups (I have EJ Manuel).

Deep enough at RB (two solid backups: Pierre Thomas and Daniel Thomas). A bit thin at backup WR. If someone has the opposite, might be interested in a trade there.

    My team is here:

    QB
    Peyton Manning, Andy Dalton

    RB
Chris Ivory, Alfred Morris, Michael Bush, Shonn Greene

    WR
Denarius Moore, Cecil Shorts, A.J. Green, Nate Burleson

    TE
    Greg Olsen, Brent Celek

    K
    Blair Walsh

    D
    Texans

Average to say the least. Anyone fancy taking Michael Bush or Shonn Greene off my hands for a WR !!?

    QB: Colin Kaepernick, Carson Palmer
RB: Chris Johnson, Rashard Mendenhall, LeVeon Bell, Christine Michael
WR: Dez Bryant, Vincent Brown, Anquan Boldin, Sidney Rice, Julian Edelman
    TE: Martellus Bennett
    PK: Matt Bryant
    TD: Cleveland Browns

This is not the team I imagined drafting when I went to bed last night :D Waking up five minutes before the draft was due to start had me a bit disoriented and picking from #16 was a bitch with everyone grabbing RBs.

I think Dez is the only one on my roster who I'm confident will have an elite season but I'm optimistic about the likes of Kaepernick and Chris Johnson. They could both potentially put up big numbers. Mendenhall should play every down if he can stay healthy, and hopefully he will do that long enough for Bell to come back from injury. In the meantime maybe Lynch gets injured and Michael becomes a big thing in Seattle? :o

I think Boldin will do better in SF than with the Ravens last season but nothing spectacular, just solid. Depending on health Rice and/or Edelman could be nice surprises. I love Brown but it's hard to see what good will come out of the Chargers this season.

Martellus Bennett... who knows. Much of a muchness between the TEs there at that stage.

    QB - STAFFORD
    QB - WEEDEN

    RB - Mccoy
    RB - Wilson
    RB - Ingram
    RB - Leshoure

    WR - Amendola
    WR - Wayne
    WR - Mike Williams
    WR - Greg Little
    WR - B Lafell

    TE - B Myers

    K - Zuerlein

    DEF - The Bucs

Let me talk a little about some of the highlights of my draft picking strategy and how all the pieces fell together on the day for Team Better Than Awesome:

    1.Kenbrell Thompkins WR PICK 12

Shocked Thompkins was still on the board at the 12th pick, some 'experts' say you could have picked Thompkins up on waivers after the draft was over but I say, you gotta pull the trigger on the 3rd WR for the Patriots when he's on the board, no matter what. The first Undrafted Rookie Free Agent picked in the first round of a fantasy draft, a landmark moment in Fantasy Football.

    2.Montee Ball RB PICK 21

Hmm it was a tossup here between Ball, Gore, Larry Fitz and MJD, but you have to stay true to your draft board, so i went with the backup rookie running back with the 21st overall pick. Some say it was a risky strategy picking a backup running back early in the second round but what most people don't know is NFL.com is giving points for the amount of minutes a player sits on the bench carrying a veteran's helmet about.

    3.Vincent Jackson WR PICK 44
    4.Antonio Brown WR PICK 53
    5.Tony Gonzalez TE PICK 76
    6.Tony Romo QB PICK 85

Thanks autopick!! You picked my favorite player in the NFL 2 year in a row. Here is some of the praise I've offered up for Romo through the years:
    Hazys wrote: »
I'm gutted you didnt accept, that was my chance to save my season after a disasterous autopick draft.

I knew you had a bad QB situation and i had two "decent" qbs in Romo and Palmer.

I hate Romo, he is useless, stupid autopick picked him the 3rd, that basically ruin any chance of a good season. That trade propsal was my 3rd attempt to trade him.
    Hazys wrote: »
    Romo is garbage
    Hazys wrote: »
Anything but the Cowboys they are on every week over here. I dont care if none of the other 4pm games have playoff implications, I'm sick of watching Romo and the Cowboys stinking up my Sunday football every week.

    7.BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB PICK 108
    8.Seattle Seahawks DEF PICK 117
    9.Stephen Gostkowski K PICK 140
    10.Josh Freeman QB PICK 149
    11.Johnathan Franklin RB PICK 172

4th string BEAST of a running back

    12.Brandon Pettigrew TE PICK 181
    13.Toby Gerhart RB PICK 204
14.New York Giants DEF PICK 213

Always need 2 defenses. You need to stockpile defenses in Fantasy...especially defenses that are aging and nowhere the caliber they were at years ago.
