I was embarrassed by my performance in this league this year and ironically it was the draft I was happiest about

Thanks chaps it was looking disastorous toward the end of the regular season. Injuries and poor performances gave me 3 losses in a row. I was happy to have secured my playoff spot though at that point.

I think myself and spongey now have two wins each.

Just waiting for Padraig F to confirm for the new season. We will need at least one new player as Radharc (Backfield Fumblers) has dropped out, so if anyone is interested they can post here.

I put in a few times but will most likely be auto drafting either way but will set my list and set it to auto right away so you guys dont have to wait for it to pick in Rd 1

I agree. The very earliest should be the week after Week 3 of preseason. Any earlier is crazy.

I'm good for any late draft. 10pm your time preferred, but I can always do the 9pm (6am for me) ones

He has the poll all the way up to Sept 1st which is week 4 of pre-season but agreed could probably add the 2nd 3rd and 4th and 5th on there also to right after the last pre-season game

We have had the the draft a week before the season starts every year.

The reason is very simple, many people have other drafts in the last days before the first Thursday, and there are usually clashes. I will have at least three others, a lot of people will have even more. It has worked well until now, we generally have a good turnout at the PPR drafts, and I really don't think 7 or 8 days before the season opener is premature. Many drafts happen before that.

If you don't want to draft on the 24th or 25th, then don't tick those times. As TO said, the choices go right up to September 1st.

Six people have filled in poll for draft, six have yet to do so. I will leave the poll open til Wednesday, by which time we need to set the date.
