Need help - First pc build...

Hi folks. A friend of mine is upgrading his pc so I got some parts off him, a motherboard and a graphics card.

Motherboard = Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4

I'm hoping someone here can advise me on what else I need exactly to get this up and running as quick and cheap as possible.

I am starting from scratch so I need to know about a compatible tower and power supply and anything else I might need.

EDit. I have a monitor and some old dvd drives/floppy etc from 2002, I doubt if they will be compatable tho.?

However you'd be better off selling the motherboard and spending a small bit extra to get an i3 system. You could probably get €30-€40 for the motherboard I think.

I should have mentioned the processor is on the board already with 4gb ram also.. I suppose I'll just scratch them off the list.

Only 30-40 for the board ? And what about the graphics card ? I bought them both for 120... I hope I wasnt ripped:o

Depending on what the processor is, it was probably a fair deal. 30-40 for the board, 40-50 for the graphics card, 20-30 for the RAM. CPU is worth 40-100 depending on what it is.

450 atx

Ok, let's try and clear some of this up:

There should be some letters and numbers on the processor, can you post what they are?

Assuming it's a decent processor, you'll need:

A power supply (Superflower Amazon 450W should do you)
A case (Xigmatek Asgard)
A CD/DVD drive (Samsung something, doesn't really matter)
A hard drive (Samsung 1TB is your best bet)
An operating system (Windows 7 Home Premium is best)

Then you'll probably need keyboard, mouse, monitor and bits, yes?

You can probably get the main bits (minus peripherals) as listed above for around €130 or so.

@decon: with such a low amount being spent, he's probably better off with Dabs or something, to take advantage of free delivery. €30's quite a bit in this situation.
