What was in the water back that week? Really high numbers of Thanks. Some images which would normally make POTW did not make the HM's

Anyway .... top of the pack was this shot by Carraig Fhearghais of the Dark Hedges with light about as good as you can get. Glorious shot.

Mossey, you take a right a little bit out of Leenane on the road to Tully Cross? Pretty sure I went walking / cycling there earlier this year, there's a stunning beach a bit further up and on a turn off to the right?

Many thanks for the compliment! & considering the huge amount of top quality shots in these threads I'm very pleased to be considered up there among them. (makes the couple of hours drive to there in the ice worth it!! ). was up again last week and unfortunately many of the trees have now been chopped down, I believe they have some sort of 'tree' disease

Thats terrible news!
I was up there myself last year

Its a magical place
hard enough to find
but well worth when you do!

Cutting back those trees has been proposed for quite a while. I remember it being talked about a couple of years ago.
