Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My kids are in primary school 4th and 2nd classes and are learning Irish but are coming home with the I hate Irish attitude,I speak very little Irish so cant really help change their attitude,Is there anywhere in Dublin I can send them out of school hours to help them improve their Irish?

Isn't it sad that kids hate Irish as much as a lot of us did in our school days :( I try and encourage my kids with the Irish language but to be honest I hated it in school myself and still have shudders when I hear the name Peig Sayers! I am not sure what the answer is - maybe enrolling them in class outside of school might make it more fun - will watch this thread for ideas!

Maybe focus on encouraging them to see Irish as a living language - TG4 has some really good shows (original or dubbed!).

Coláiste na bhFiann run informal clubs all over the country called Cumann na bhFiann.
It is generally designed for past pupils of the summer colleges but as far as I know it is open to all. Check their website or give them a ring.
