Restaurant suggestions in London

Hi all,

New to this forum and looking for some advise. Myself and the missus are off to London in November to visit some friends. When they were over here in Dublin a few months ago they took us for dinner in Chapter 1, which was superb by the way. Obviously we are looking to return the favor. Has anyone any suggestions for a similar culinary experience in London that hopefully will not break the bank. About £70 a head would be ok. There are loads on trip advisor but though some fellow boards member might be able to point me in the right direction.

Pollen street Social is meant to be amazing and recently won a michelin star (and best new london restaurant)

Cheers, will defo have a look at all of those. Not sure how easy it will be to get a booking but wont know until I give em a bell.

Last time I was over I ate at Locanda Locatelli and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, over again soon and will probably eat there again.

We ate at Fifteen (Jamie Olivers restaurant in Nth London. The restaurant itself is in a bit of a dodgy area but the meal was delicious.

Everyone I know who's been to 15 in recent times has been less than complimentary about the service, prices etc. avoid if i were you.

The wine will kill you on any of these !
