New House Build - what do I need ?

Building a new house. I have a small space where all the cables terminate - namely the TV coax, the network CAT5, the phone points along with the satelite and digital antennae roof feeds. Currently looks like spaghetti junction.

What do I need to do in order to tidy up and distribute signal around the house ? Is there some type of AV Patch Panel ?

Probably would be very expensive to have patch panels for everything, as one would be needed for LAN connections ,
another for coax stuff, phone etc.

If your wireless modem can be moved to where the cables are, that should take care of the LAN leads (unless you have 4+).

A passive splitter like this should take care of the DVB-T cables (unless you have 4 or more);

A cheapo phone splitter would also do the job for phones;

All that you'll need is to buy/borrrow a RJ45 & RJ11 crimper. The LAN and phone connections can be got cheap on ebay or a wholesaler,
as well as the 'f' connectors for the TV splitter.

Thanks Moon. Eventually found the answer - a Haeger Media Hub - http://www.hager.ie/building-automation-wiring-accessories/hager-media-hub/991.htm - I haven't put it in yet but it looks the right job.

CAT5 is out dated now, swap it out for CAT6 if you can.
