I assume you'd prefer a 30mm smeitisuiieui black button rather than a white Happ one ?

If you're not a candy cab fiend and like jamma woody cabs, it can be done a lot cheaper than you'd think :)

€150 would have you a decent enough jamma cab.

€60 or so for an MVS mobo and away you go!

Well within what you'd get for a kidney on the black market :pac:

Anyone else see the update on the Artcade book by the way? Looks like they'll be in our hands in 6-8 weeks.

    I need to rant

There was a Korean version Batrider on ebay yesterday. Bidding was at £90 with 10 seconds to go. I put in a proxy bid of £140 on my phone while out having a pint.

Signal dropped, bid didn't go through. Some lucky bastard got it for £90!

edit - ah wait no, my phone must just not have updated, says it ended at £163 now. Phew! Still didn't get it but at least it didnt go so cheap :D

Not the prettiest but it works well and should be neat enough when installed in a cab :)
4 directions, 6 buttons, Start, Coin all available on individual pin headers so fairly flexible as to what boards it will work with.

Individual pin headers! Now that's an absolute stroke of genius

So there's really no need for different kick harnesses as long as it uses pins. Can't wait to give this a go :)

Not really, I just couldn't be bothered making adapters for different pinouts :D
Bit of clean up and it'll be ready for you.

There's a great thread over on AO at the moment called 'I've never seen...'

Couple of great images turned up which I thought I'd never see.

    http://sebastianmihai.com/main.php?t=93&n=Blue-Elf-2-309-in-1-JAMMA-PCB-troubleshoot-controls-not-working

    still nada.

I had probs with my Gamenbox 776 in 1 and it was also a ground issue .
Worked fine on the Aero but on the Cute some buttons/controls where grounded to pin 27 and 28 as I recall and grounded to pin 1/2 they worked .

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,076 ✭✭✭safetyboy

I had it working in the NNC but the sound was crap I assume it was the namco - jamma converter, http://www.excellentcom.net/detail.asp?catid=76348&subcatid=0&pdtid=624675

Games played like crap too. apart from pacman, which I was trying to get working for the missus.
