What original cabinets of older games do people own on here?

My coin-op friend in the US will be interested to hear, going to link him to the forum!

ibara kuru over on otaku, $1150 fuuu how do these pcb's get so expensive, the cave CV1000 boards are all clones too and the sound is ****e on them.

as in clones I mean flashed by CAVE.

If it is it apparently adds a whole other dimension to the game. Obviously not worth over 1k, but sounds interesting!

It's only worth that money because it's rare as hell .
When played properly it's harder than normal Ibara because you need to keep the rank maxed out before the Xtreme Terror Counter kicks in and you can get a decent score .

For anyone looking to get some arcade artwork to restore a cab or build a new one I've almost finished uploading 25GB of ultra high res stuff to my artwork site. This is the sort of stuff that's usually behind a paywall so work away for free on my site if you need it

Personally, I'm just going to get a few new marquees in this batch professionally printed on canvas for my new mancave expansion

Ok so the original chome beading that I did on my bartop kept coming away which I was annoyed at so I decided to re-do the carbon fibre vinyl wrap (after another sanding job) and re-do the chrome trim while I was at it.

On the advice of a friend I ordered some black melamine, ironed that onto the corners and then put the 3M backed beading over that.

Bloody disaster... after a few days it was coming away in the corners again as you can see here:



It also started to come away at the edges of the screen too. Found an older post on the forum here from I think it was The Last Bandit about his build. He recommended getting some slow set araldite and using masking tape to hold it all in place during application time and setting time.

He also advised to remove the 3M stick stuff from the chrome trim because it sucks (and it really really does).

Anyway here she sits after some work tonight:



Really hope this works because if it doesn't I give up...

Mr. Vestek on here became an Irish reseller for bartop cab shells, about a momth or 2 ago. Hes based in Dublin.

I think the Last Badit made up one or 2 for guys on here also.

I was out in Tramore today and the one arcade with some proper games has opened up its second half for the summer....its glorious!!! well kind of

I was with the gf so I couldnt have a proper look around but here what I can remember off hand.

Time Crisis 4
Sega Naomi delux, no idea what was playing but its amazing looking
A title fight, which is ****ing amazing
Theatre of Magic pinball
No good gophers pinball

Good mix of some old machines and new ones. This is irrelevant news to everyone but i'm excited because its finally somwhere to play arcade goodness thats close to me

Plus I have to go out during the week and find someone to talk to about that Theathre of Magic
