I haven't been much of a fan of shmups in the past but I actually enjoyed playing a few on my cab over the weekend. Can't for the life of me remember which ones they were though but it really gave me nostalgia for the arcade.

    So any recommendations?

    Thanks!

DoDonPachi, Espgaluda, Raiden. So many, load up mame/hyperspin and just have a bash at the vert section.

The shmup hook is this - 1 credit and thats it. If you credit feed them theyre pointless and it ruins the whole experience.

Could always do the lazy thing and upload the raw footage as an unlisted video... then edit it altogether with the youtube editor. Did the same for my recent cab vid. Results are surprising.

Nice use of Ikea like LED strips to light up the marquee on the E2/Atomiswaves

    I'm a little giddy...

I've been doing a bit of spring cleaning in the games room/office lately just to free up some space and box away unused consoles. Finally decided to hang up those Ikea-framed Raiden flyers I had sitting on the floor. Seeing as I can't have my marquee on the cab (as it's under wraps during the day) I decided to hang the flyers over the cab instead.

I'm obviously missing one for Raiden Fighters Jet, hopefully looking at the gap will motivate me to buying it sometime. Not perfectly aligned either but they'll do. :)

    Looks sexy,
how come you keep it under wraps?
I keep the curtains closed beside mine to keep the sun off them.

    On another arcade note.
Was somebody on here looking for 24mm P1 & P2 buttons?
    Because I need some too!

That old jamma cab im fixing up originally had 24mm light up buttons.
Its coming on rapidly.I got it stripped out and cleaned last night.Found a single old 10p in it and a refresher wrapper.
It also had a wico leaf switch joystick.
That was a complete bastard to get out.
Luckily enough with a bit of wood working I'll be able to flip the CP and add a marquee light.
Getting some non working/untested monitors from Mitch later.
Hopefully will be able to fit a 20" in there!
    heres a few before pics.

Have to keep it under wraps as I've two young lads running about the place, just a bit risky leaving the screen un-protected with them about. :pac:

Yep your pics work fine, lol at the cat. Nice little cab that.

I have my cab out in the open. Every now and cab my young lad (20 months) grabs hold of both joysticks and practically starts swinging off them.

    Not good for the heart.

He also likes stuffing raisins and apple slices down the coin slot.

Yeah I hate it when the Nieces come over and start milling the joysticks!
The cat is a pain in the hoop. Its deaf as a post so sounds like a crying baby.

Looking at Andrews lovely pics reminds me I need to pick up a bulb for my AWSD.
    Is there a B&Q option I wonder?

I think unky_chop_chop got a new bulb for his NAC in B&Q, presumably they are the same dimensions? Not sure though.

Here's the length you're looking for (probably standard):

If she looks anything like your 'OUYA' girl then make sure she includes a phone number on that bill. :P
