I own this laptop and recently had to replace the battery. I replaced like for like (got another 6 cell one) i noticed there are 12 cell ones for sale for my laptop, is it worth getting one of these? i'm lucky to get 2 hours out of my 6 cell one so would the 12 cell one actually double the length of use i get out of it? It costs about €70 for the 12 cell one which is a bit steep but if it doubles the potential usage i'd be up for it.

If it's from the manufacturer it should be fine. I'd be skeptical of a third party product's claims about battery life.
