NME Photography Competition

Today I got an e-mail to say that I was accepted as one of the ten finalists in the reportage category of the NME photography competition.
I was selected amongst thousands of entries to have my images put in front of the NME staff photographers, photo editors and Pennie Smith!!! (A legendary photographer!)

To say I'm delighted would be an understatement. I thought the week couldn't get any better having been chosen to have work hung in the Ulster Hall for Belfast Music Week, but this is just mind-blowing.
I've read the NME for years and to think I could have an image in there is too much to take in at the moment.

Here's a link to the NME site where you can see the rest of the entries in all the categories. There's some goodies in there. The portrait category is pretty damn impressive.
