    I think the last post explains things pretty clearly:

    'Standard Procedure' when closing something fast moving, at least as far as I'm concerned, is to close the thread first and then go editing, deleting, or adding additional information or explanations.
    A lot of sh1t can go down in a fast moving thread while you're composing your thoughts and committing them to text.
