Porting a SkypeIn Number to regular landline phone or cheaper voip provider

Have a 'landline' number from skype - 01xxxxxxx - and it's working out at about €60 per year. Has anyone had any luck porting a skype-in number to a regular landline or another voip service? I'm assuming that any landline number can be ported just like mobile. Thanks in advance
