Its meant to be a sign that the car has seen "The Ring" however a lot of people like pretending.

i thought it was part of the campaign to save the Nurburgring.... probably wrong, I usually am.

I'd bet 90% of people that have these stickers have not been on that ring. People just like fibbing, the "german" look thing as someone already mentioned. Young lad lives opposite me has one on his 1.0L corsa, I'm betting he is fibbing!

saw a nurburgring sticker on the back of a A4 the other day
im just wondering whats the point in them ??? or what do they mean ???

    thanks

In most cases, they mean that the owner has a 90hp tdi, chipped to 200hp, which is so fast they been around the ring, on their cheap coilovers and replica wheels, in under 7 mins without anyone even noticing that they weren't driving continuously up and down the main street of whatever town they live in every evening.

I think thats what they mean outside Dublin anyway!:P

Nearly all of those stickers are cheap eBay fakes. The word nurburgring is spelled wrong or in the wrong place on the logo. I have the genuine article on my Landcruiser, only because I took it around the track. Those golfs and A4s annoy me.

In fairness I think the ego's are mostly in the A4's. It's become a kind of skangermobile thing unfortunately. I just think it looks funny on a jeep.......And yes I like knowing mine is real:D
