Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I'm way behind in the book work and am only sending in my receipts for planting trees, whips and an orchard.

I've planted all the trees last winter but I had to fence ( sheep wire) on one side of all the trees I planted.
    Some of my options were

Traditional orchard 75 euro per tree

    Whip 9.50

    Tree 62.70

Can i claim labour of half the above prices per tree.?

e.g. claim 37.50 for labour for putting up an apple tree.?

Also can I claim back for the fencing i put up to protect the trees.?

Must admit I'm findng this very confusing. I've also just sent back maps changing LPIS for hay meadow.

    Any help much appreciated

No probs with claiming for labour up to same value of materials.
Fencing is part of the costs of planting trees so no prob there either
Its not rocket science but your planner/adviser would do it for you if your feeling the pressure

Thanks EPFF for that. One last question

Lets say for standard tree planting you get 62.70 per tree.

Now this is a capital investment.

Do you get a once off payment of 62.70 for buying the tree and the 62.70/5 per year??

Or do you just get 62.70 diveded by 5 over the five years.?

I Planted 150 trees last year and it cost me 2300, with wips aswell im 3500 down.

I;#'m sending off the capital investment form today, so I'm just trying to budget what I will get back

    Thanks for the help,

    Broke farmer!
