Hi. I had a recipe last year for brown bread that i found online. Stupidly i threw it away or lost it anyway, I remember that there was the usual ingredients of plain and whole wheat flour, an egg, bicarbonate of soda, but there was other ingredients of nutmeg, mixed spice, wheat germ, honey and cinnamon. I think i used milk instead of buttermilk. Would anyone have a recipe using these ingredients or a suggestion as to quantities i should use to make it? Also if its possible to use milk instead of buttermilk when making brown bread? I remember it was a wet mix so i might manage the method ok :P
    Thanks for reading!
