    Hi,

Just wondering can anyone recommend some good sturdy evergreens \ conifers that will do well in a very windy garden? Some that wouldnt grow overly big say in around 30ft but no bigger than 50ft?

Junipers are great in windy areas.
Douglas fir... but may get a bit large for you, depending on the variety.
Holly is a very tough one for wind.

Ask at a reputable garden center.

Thanks very much for that, I saw some Thuja Occidentalis Smaragd which I quite like and think they would be nice running up my driveway. Do you know if these would be suitable?

Main problem with conifer evergreens is that they tend to be shallow rooted and a bit likely to blow over.
