On the Truman Show, the woman who is playing his wife is supposed to have sex with Truman (being a married couple and all) but does this make her a prostitute as she is doing it as part of her job?
What other movies left you questioning weird details?

When it's someone else paying you to have sex, not the person you are having sex with, it's not prostitution. Just look at the porn industry, it's how it's allowed to exist.

why didnt any of the 20+ bad guys in james bond movies just shoot him in the head when they caught him? that's recklessness that undermines their rise to evil power

I've never used a machine gun, but even though they can shoot out a lot of bullets in just a few seconds, it still seems to be near impossible to actually hit someone even when they are only 20 feet away

Casey Affleck and Scott Caan. They pose as casino employees and tell the security guard that "This is Mr Benedicts stuff" in the chip trolley.

If the sex is filmed then she'd be a pornstar and not a hooker.

If I was George I'd be especially suspicious than my youngest child looked exactly like some guy my wife used to know.

not as weird as a robot driving instructor who travels back in time for some reason, whose best friend is a talking pie

Choice A: put the bunny back in the box.

Choise B: dont put the bunny back in the box.

    that's a dilemma right there.

    The Dark Knight:

Batman must choose to save Rachel Dawes or the partygoers in his penthouse when the Joker arrives at the party(*SPOILER ALERT* Batman is really billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne!).

He chooses to dive out the window and save Rachel.

But strangely, he chooses to remain chatting to her after he rescues her, presumably leaving his friends and acquaintances to be killed by the Joker, given free rein to do whatever he wants!

We never see what happened after Batman left everyone with the Joker, presumably because it was too gruesome.

    Nice one Batman.

I remember reading about it happening to Ewan McGregor before, though I don't remember the film.

And apparently when he gets a boner, you notice it!

It's a little known fact that in giggity scenes, the actress has just eaten a meal of pickled eggs, baked beans and garlic.

If the breath doesn't put him off the farting will.

that and the fact that the entire crew are staring at his equipment.

In 'Back to the future 2' old Biff from 2015 used the Deloreon to go back to 1955 an give the sports almanac to his younger self while Doc & Marty were busy.

How did he get the Deloreon back to 2015 though so that Doc & Marty could go back to 1985 and see that Biff was rich and the timeline had been changed?!?

If he gave the almanac to himself in 1955 then went to return the Deloreon to 2015, it woulda been the 2015 of the new timeline he'd just created!

THIS KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT.

The timeshift is gradual, as seen by the picture in BTTF 1 that gradually shifts to the new reality.

    GO TO SLEEP.

    Edit:
Although it's a good point about them finding out. But maybe as they are out of time themselves, it takes longer for the new reality to assert itself. Maybe.

Now I'm not going to sleep.

He'd gone 'Ahab' at that point. He'd become obsessed with catching the shark and didn't want anyone or anything interfering with it.

once you start thinking about the multiple delorean theory it'll melt your brain. think about it, there are upwards of 4 deloreans in the same place at one time throughout the trilogy, in 1955 theres the original one Marty travels back in, the one from part 2 where biff goes back, the one that Marty uses to travel back to part 1 in part 2 to get the almanac and the one buried in the cave since 1885. but this goes against the idea that in time travel the thing you use to perform time travel cant be in mutiple places at one.

dont get me started on Primer, that film could cause you to go schizo if you think about it, taking a time machine back in time inside a time machine? my brainnnn!

The "Swat" team consisting of the criminals brought them in in their bags and swapped the for the real money, the video feed was of another replica vault built in a warehouse earlier in the movie.

a bigger goof would be how does Clooney get back out of the vault to the room he was supposed to be in, given that the security system goes back on once himself and Damon get in there, its an elevator shaft full of laser beams

It grossed almost $400m worldwide. Hardly a bomb. I'd say unenthusiastic word of mouth and a lack of "I gotta see this again!" prevented it grossing more.

    Raiders of the Lost Ark:
Indy apparently survives being submerged and holding onto the top of a submarine for a trip across the Mediterranean!

    Star Trek Generations:
Picard can leave the Nexus at any point in time or space to stop the evil plan of Malcolm McDowell. Yet instead of going back to before all of the events of the film which lead to multiple deaths and stopping him before all of that happened, he goes back to the latest possible moment to stop him!

    Star Trek First Contact:
Thanks to Mr. Plinkett for pointing this out. On the Enterprise, there's a room that can only be accessed by crawling through a tiny crawlspace and contains a window and a control panel to cover and uncover it. What's the point of it?
    Skip to 5.00:

Jurassic Park: Spoiler if you somehow haven't seen it: At the end, how did no-one hear the giant dinosaur that walked up right behind them?

I can't remember who won their latest rematch on BluRay and frankly I don't care.
