Can I connect my DVR wirelessly to my modem

I have bought a h.264 4 camera system.
I was wondering can i connect it to my modem wirelessly using http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=738

I have one of these at home.

No way to know without knowing what brand and model of camera system you have to see if it would be able to support it at all.

And the wireless adaptor mentioned in the previous post.

If this isn't an option what is the best way to run a LAN cable to the UPC thompson modem from the attic to the hallway?

Any hints, tips on what not to do?

Generally they won't work as the dvr would not have the required drivers.

I was thinking I could use this instead and then have no cables.

So have the DVR in the attic and a plugged in beside it would be ^^ and then there would be no need for getting a length of lan cable.

They are a much better option to wireless. We use them all the time for alarm panels.
