Thought this might be of interest to anyone thinking of going to/moving to/living in Tokyo, or with an interest in life in Tokyo.

He's been fairly inactive lately since he found work on some travel channel, however I got completely addicted to his youtube vid's a while back, and found them quite informational and entertaining.

Most are about life in Tokyo(such as the one below).

However he also did some 'informationals' about work, housing, visas etc. (These are a few years old though, the info in them could have changed by now)

I think iv watched every single one of tokyocooney's videos... His are by far the most informative videos regarding Tokyo.

I'm sure anybody who has seen anything from TokyoCooney has watched some of RichardSwan's vlogs.

If you haven't, he made a couple of batches of videos one in Tokyo, the other Iwate, he was on the JET scheme. His videos were cool cause he was very much a westerner as seen here

And for others dreaming of a long period homestay like myself Kat's videos are good
