Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

She saw him coming and pulled out anyway, why does she get continual excuses made for her while all the dead rider gets is 'he might have been speeding' and 'he was involved in an unspecified accident before'

    Scrap the cap!

The dead rider didnt only get "'he might have been speeding" and "he was involved in an unspecified accident before", he also "got" many people acknowledging how tragic this accident was, and how it could have been avoided. You're just reading what you want at this stage.

Stupid bitcch took the man's life with her $hit driving skills. What kind of idiot pulls out onto a main road with an approaching vehicle. I spend much longer checking everything when moving onto a main thoroughfare where speeds of passing motorists are much higher. She should not have moved until everything was completely clear.

She got complacent because she had pulled out of there so many times before without incident. She thought nothing was ever going to happen because it had not happened so far. She also seems to have mixed up "slow into danger, fast out of it"

"In an interview with gardaí, Ms Clancy said that as she pulled out of the driveway, she looked to her left towards Tulla and to her right towards Ennis". I would conclude she was turning right given she looked both ways. Given her appalling calibre of driving, I doubt she would have looked both ways if turning left.

Tragic that the motorcyclist was so unfortunate to come upon this driver with her car sprawled across the road, and her completely oblivious to what was about to happen. Disgraceful verdict by the jury.

The disgraceful thing is she actually did see the bike which had it's light on for safety, and still pulled out.
