We have opened a Rum Bar in the Twisted Pepper Lobby. World class rums & fresh 'FROM SCRATCH' cocktails, an intimate surrounding, sweet wooden furniture & ivy. Yes, ivy. Oh and music too. Jazz, reggae, world music, hip hop & more.

So here's the rundown gigs-wise over this weekend.
Oct 27 Thursday - 19:00 - TRAZ [Live]
Oct 28 Friday - 18:00 - Mixtapes From the Underground [Live]
Oct 29 Saturday - 18:00 - Dublin Topical's DJ iZem & Louis Scully
Oct 30 Sunday - 18:00 - Yelp.com event + Discotekken DJs

Traz are four Leaving Cert students who have been wowing audiences for 2 years now. With a guest appearance on Donal Dineen's Small Hours radio show, an upcoming appearance with Carl Corcoran on Lyric FM and a recent gig at the Spirit of Folk Festival, Traz are getting some great coverage - and deservedly so. Expect violins, guitars, keys, saxophone & acapella singing.

Mixtapes are an Irish live hip hop outfit. Each of their gigs involve drums, keys, guitars, decks + various different Irish MCs coming down to rap & get down. Highly, highly recommended.

DJ iZem runs gigs as Dublin Tropical & is a co-founder of internet radio station Groovalizacion. Purveyor of all things tropical, this gig will christen the rum bar with some sweet reggae vibez.

Yelp.com join us this Sunday. We can't say too much about this gig, but we CAN promise copious amounts of FREE Sailor Jerry's rum. Places are limited so email dublin@yelp.ie before Friday to guarantee a place.
