Promoting Each Others Facebook Page - Read Post 1 for Rules!

    Right this is the new thread for facebook pages.

    There are too many old posts on the other thread by pages that dont exists anymore, people that didnt bother liking others and general waffle that dilutes the purpose of the thread.

    Follow the rules, if you break them the post gets deleted simple as!

    Rules:

    1. You post your facebook page - post only the link and nothing else!

    That means no talk, no waffle, no whinging or moaning.

    Having a normal personal profile and using it for a business is against t&c's of facebook so dont be surprised if people arent adding you as a friend if you use this method.

    2. You should try and like people from both your business page and your personal page if you can as it maximises the amount of people likely to see other peoples pages and in return seeing yours.

    3. Dont post if you arent going to return the favour and like people back!

    4. The easiest way to get a like back is to simply post from your business page on someone elses after you 'like' them saying "visiting via boards" or something similar. There is no need to demand they like you back or any of this nonsense.

    I see a lot of people are just posting here and not liking other pages, from now on that's not going to be tolerated as you are just abusing this thread. People with 25 or less posts on boards in particular, so I am going to start checking on peoples pages every so often and if you haven't been liking other people from your business page I am going to start removing peoples links from the thread. It may seem harsh to some but for those of us that bother liking people its annoying when others just post their link and do nothing.

    The whole point of the thread is to promote each other - as was the case the last time it seems a lot of people are posting their business expecting to get likes but not liking any one else - thats not how it works and it wont work as you simply wont get the likes.

    The onus is on you to make the first move and like peoples pages and leave a message then they will return the favour. If you just come on and post a link and then do nothing you are wasting your time on here.
