Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Recently I got a 6 month subscription from some photo magazine for €15. Normally photography magazines are €6-€8, which is crazy prices.

Anyone know of any photogrpahy magazines subscriptions that get delivers to your house at good, cheap prices?

Before people reply saying don't bother with magazines or just buy old ones cheaply I like to have new magazines to flick through. And i like in Galway so there's nowhere that I know of that sells old photo magazines.

    Cheers,
    Pa.

I know exactly what you mean. What really, really annoys me though, is that all subscriptions are more expensive to Ireland, and the subscription 'gift' is only available to UK addresses. AARRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Any info on the quoted magazine ?
The newsagent prices are prohibitive and I do prefer paging through a magazine than clicking through a website.

Have a look at GUP magazine. Pretty good and not that expensive. It is more an art magazine so not the sort you can buy in the shops with tips & tricks & what to buy - this is pure portfolio's and photo's. So if you're in to that kind a stuff I would def recommend it. I have a subscription myself and if you're a student (or use someone else's card) it's even cheaper.

If you have an Android or ipad tablet then download Zinio where you can read/subscribe to thousands of magazines for much less than news agent prices.

There's a pretty new one run by a couple of Irish lads,
Their site seems to be down at the minute, but you can view the PDFs of the mag here, http://issuu.com/viewfindermag
You can buy the print edition too and they have a couple of podcasts on their site.
