Nokia C3 for 49.99 - for me only???

Not sure if this is only for me (linked to my phone number), but I got a text from meteor saying I'm part of 'a select bunch, who can purchase a shiny new Nokia C3 for 49.99' The text gives me a code. Meteor website says it's 79.99 there - if I can pass this on to anyone in the market for that phone, gimme a shout!

In the interest of fairness, I'll pm you all with the code and I imagine whoever purchases it first, will activate it.

As I said, I'm not sure if the code is linked to my phone number or if it will work on its own, but I'll send it on anyway;)

Hi Niveus - I just got off the phone from meteor who said the code should work...when I told him it didn't work (I tried it myself there), he just kept saying 'well, it SHOULD'!!

So I don't know what the story is! Unless you buy it in an actual shop with the code??

Hi Fittle , jus spoke with Meteor store assistant , code not working in stores as their online shop and actual stores are kind of different from each other.
You should be asking them to try code themselves , and when they will confirm that its not working, you could tell them 'well, it SHOULD'!!

The meteor guy also told me that if he put me through to their sales department, it might work - but I wasn't buying a phone myself so I didn't - anyone want to try that?

The meteor text says 'You are a select bunch' so I don't think all meteor customers got it, just us special ones;)

I dunno if you need to login to meteor to avail of the code though

Any pm replies I've gotten are telling me the code doesn't work.

And I've tried it myself, and it doesn't work (I'm not buying a phone - just wanted to see if the code worked!)

My code is gone lads.

As far as I'm aware its a bricks and mortar store because it says something along the lines of "call instore for offers" or some-such. Its for the Nokia c3 which isn't a great phone at all, its actually kinda crap but the code is also for €30 off any smartphone so thats not so bad.

Same on mine - but when I rang customer services, he told me I couldn't buy it in one of their stores and had to purchase online...oh well!

My wife has one, it's rubbish. Poor, unresponsive touch screen which locks the phone up from time to time, dodgy microSD card reader etc. Has been repaired twice (once by Nokia and once by Vodafone repair) and I still don't have any confidence in it.
